Often times in our society, people act different when they are amongst their peers. This is similar to what happens in All Summer in a Day by Ray Bradbury, when all of the students gang up on Margot to put her in the closet.

1. They are jealous of Margot and follow william because they feel as though he will help them releave there jealousy.
2. No they wouldnt because they would have never had to fight(not literally) to the top. they chose her because she was the only one different , she came at 5 years old .
3. It they were all similar they would have never picked on one another. Individually people are nice , but in a group people gang up on 1 different person from the rest.
4. You can become a bully and pushed into things you dont want to do. Some will think you have to do bad things to get more popular.

1. I think that if it was one on one maybe they would have been able to work it out. Because when people have because egging them on they feel better about themself and better about what they are doing. When someone is by themself it would be easier to work things out and make a mends.
2. I think if there wassnt as many people going for Margot it wouldnt be as bad. Because like i said before people only do things if they have back up. They where just jealous of MArgot because she was from earth and she had seen the sun before and more than they have.
3. I think that if there is a group of people against one person than the group of people would win. There is always someone to agree with when your in a gtroup but if your by yourself that you only have yourself.
4. The dangers of being in a big group are that at any point in time someone can blame things on you. Or if you do something they can leave you behind. Being in a group is bad it can lead to so many things.
I think the story would have been diffrent if Margot had her own group of friends who were on her side because it wouldnt have just been her aganst the whole class and she would have never got locked in the closet. In my opinion i dont think that William and his group would have been so openly mean to her either since there would be people on her side rather than just her that they were pickin and she wouldnt have been so singled out. In my expiernce ive seen were if there is a class and maybe one person is quit and more to them selfs people will think they can get over on them, those are usually the people that kids will pick on because they think that they are weaker then them. Ive also seen were if someone has a problem with one person and its a fight/argument between two people if one of the people have alot of friend or people, all these people are all of a sudden a part of something that has nothing to do with them. Sometimes they dont even know the person or used to be alright with them and they just turn because of influnces from that friend. There are some people that are easily influnced or have a fear of being diffrent and alone. Those people are sometimes afraid to be them selfs and turn into something they are really not in order to keep friends. For example i knew this person that when they were by them selfs they were smart and just a cool guy to be around but when they got around diffrent people they were loud, obnoxious, rude and playedv like they was stupid in class'. In my opinion everyone is louder when they get around their friends because they're having fun but theres a line between having fun with your friends and changing yoour whole personality. Dangers in real life of being a part of a big group are you can lose your self and friends. If you have alot of friends and maybe you dont like puting your bussiness out or you dont like drama but one day you tell someone one a secret cause it was waying on your mind. Thats okay but then theres a chance that person will go around and tell others or you forget that you told someone and it was bothering you again so you tell someone else that it spreads like a grape vine thrugh your friends group and slips around to everyone. Now everyone knows your secret even people you dont want to know.
1. They are all against margot for no paticular reason they just seem like they wanted to pick on her because shes diffrent.
2. William is the only one that suggested they treat margot like that and was the only one really messing with her when she was doing nothing but minding her business. If he wasnt there they would of left margot alone in her own little world and would of not locked her in the closet.
3. People these days usually pick on people because of their insecuritys. They pick on them because there diffrent or seem weird to them in some type of way which always comes down to a personal problem they have on there own.
4. Big groups usually influence you to do things that you wouldnt usually do on a regular day which isnt good because in the end you suffer the consequences not your friends.
the group feeleing is very important in the plot of this story. even though is really messed up thet the other kids picked on her and locked her up in the closet. and i think that if their was not so many children gangin up on margot i think she would been aight but at the same time margot should had defended herself. stuff like that is not cool people or youngsters that take advantage on other people dont have a life or got nothin better to do.
- is good to have friends and be in big groups cause if any ********** messes with u you always got back up. but at the same time their are some dangers cause maybe they pick on somebody just 4 fun. and dats when u decide who ur real friends are. so if u a bully or being bullied dont let that happen stand 4 urself and treat people the way u want to be treated.

Berfore: It is important to understand and identify new words because if you dont understand a word how are you going to understand what you are reading an the meaning of the word. Also, new words you dont know can help have a better vocabulary and improve the way you speak. well my book doesnt have words that are complicated i understand what i am reading. my book is so easy.

Before : It is important to identify and understand words you didn’t know, because sometimes a word confuses you. Thats leaves some people frusterated, when you want to read something, but cant really understand it. Increasing your vocabulary helps your understanding of the world around you because sometimes a bigger word is needed. For an example, when at a job interview, you might want to use bigger words. That would make you sound more professional.

Really what i learned about this reading experience is that people arnt always the same when there by themselves then when there with a group of people.I think this is true because it the same in life. People are likke that because their always tring to fit in ith some group that is rally not like themselves, so when their with hat group they act to have a differnet attitude to fit in but then when their by theselves they act the way they are.Reallu i think nomatter what you should act like yourself be who you really are.
Sometimes the danger of this is trying to fit in with people that you dont really know. What i men by that is like you not knowing what the do after school. You start to do things that you,dont really wanna to do.
I don’t think the children would have treated margot so badly because they don’t think he’s right. The group behavior is different than individual behavior because people act like the group wants them to. The dangers or being in a big group is that if someone does something wrong the whole group suffers.
